On November 4, 1884, Alabama's voters voted for ten at-large electors. Four electoral slates ran.

Of the others, 762 were for the Greenbacks, 719 were for the Prohibitionists, and one was scattering.

The Democratic slate was duly elected, and voted for Cleveland and Hendricks on December 3.
